Adriel was hesitant to sign up for the spring mission trip to Tijuana with his fellow SUA students: "I had never been out of the country before. At first I wasn't going to go, but then I decided to try something new."
She went on the trip expecting to see a third world country that would be filled with poverty and brokenness. Instead, she found herself blown away by the beauty presented to her in Laos.

It all started in 1943 when Mary Warstler began attending a neighborhood youth group for teenagers led by Mike Martin. During her time in Youth for Christ, she met her husband of 47 years. As the Warstler family grew, so did their generosity and connections with CRISTA.
Campers from Japan enjoyed a special Miracle Ranch camp experience during International Friends Weekend! Every year, King's hosts students from MeySen Academy in Sendai, Japan, to have an English Immersion Program for a week. Participants come to classes with King's students, stay with King's families, and go to camp!

It all started when Irene Pearson felt God's leading to host a Benefit Dinner for the Good Samaritan Fund. Irene said, "God led me to put on the dinner for Good Sam. The flowers, flatware, tablecloths, food, beautiful ice carving and everything that was needed was provided by God. There was so much joy in the room it was overwhelming!"
World Concern's annual 5K is right around the corner and we are in need of volunteers to help with this year's event on May 12th. There's an opportunity to suit any interest from working in our community, engaging with children, encouraging racers, to on-site event support - participate in a role that you're excited about!

Each year, King’s hosts students from MeySen Academy in Sendai, Japan, to have an English Immersion Program for a week. This year they participated in the International Friends Weekend at CRISTA Camps and enjoyed meeting Bob at the Martin Center!
It's that time of year - Spring Break! Students and staff from Seattle Urban Academy and King's Schools are going out into the world to share in the CRISTA Mission of loving God by serving people. Please join us in supporting them with prayer.
